The Raptors 905 (2-12), fell in the second of their two games to the Delaware Blue Coats (8-5)
122-104 on Thursday night.
The game started much like it had been for much of Tuesday night, ( when the Raptors were
always aggressive and outscoring the visiting team, even taking a 40-point lead) but slowly
surely the Delaware Blue Coats shook it off and with a great effort were able to maintain a
manageable 4-point deficit for much of the first two quarters.
The Raptors 905 even managed to have leads between 8-9 points and before halftime the most
outstanding players were Markquis Nowell with 10 points & assists and Mouhamadou Gueye
with 16 points.
Then in the second half of the game Delaware Blue Coats improved their performance too much
and began to discount on the scoreboard and then began to distance themselves until midway
through the 3rd quarter the difference was never more than 6 points but it was impossible for
Raptors.
Justise Winslow provided the complementary scoring for the 905 with 23 points, nine rebounds,
three assists, a steal and a block. Darius Bazley led the Blue Coats with 26 points, 14 rebounds,
two blocks and two steals.
Mouhamadou Gueye led the 905 with 20 points, nine rebounds, six blocks, two assists and two
steals. Javonte Smart scored 40 points, including 10 three-pointers, five rebounds, four assists
and two steals for the B’s.
It is expected that after returning from Orlando, Florida the team will close the year vindicated
with its fans and at home as well, improving both performance and its home numbers in order to
boost their self-steam for have a great 2024 season finishing in a better position which be in
line with being one of the most important and traditional team of the league
