🚨Philadelphia plane crash was an air ambulance: The plane that crashed last night in North Philadelphia was an air ambulance registered in Mexico. It was carrying a Mexican-born child and his mother who had been in the United States for specialized treatment at the Philadelphia Shriner’s Hospital and were already on their way back to Mexico. The plane took off from Philadelphia’s Northeast Regional Airport bound for Springfield-Branson Airport in Missouri to refuel on its way to its final destination of Tijuana, Mexico. The company that operated the flight, Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, said in a statement that there were four crew members on board, which puts the total number of fatalities from the accident at six. President Donald Trump has already spoken out about the crash, and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has already confirmed that the new federal Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy has contacted the state government to have the National Transportation Safety Board begin an investigation into the accident.
