.Forge Fc Soccer Team Signs Former LAFC2 Goalkeeper Kolieat on Multi-Year DealCanadian Premier League side Forge FC have confirmed the arrival of former LAFC2 goalkeeper Jassem Kolieat on a multi-year contract.Koleilat had first joined on a short-term contract ahead of the previous Concacaf Champions Cup matches against Chivas.Forge Fc’s new goalkeeper took his first professional steps after being selected by LAFC in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, and went on to make seven appearances with his MLS NEXT Pro team.He also excelled at the University of New Hampshire, earning 41 starts after starting at Iowa Western Community College.Born in Prague, he also spent time in the youth academy with AC Sparta Praha in Prague in 2018, and before that with Stade Lavallois in France. The 24-year-old will count as a national athlete since he has Canadian citizenship, although he also has Lebanese and Czech ancestry. While on his initial short-term contract, he filled the bench behind Kalongo for the club’s continental matches against Chivas. The move comes more than a month after we reported that the club’s original Triston Henry had asked to leave Forge FC, although the goalkeeper claimed we had made up our cover. It looks like the Hammers will also bring in midfielder Matteo Schiavoni on loan from CF Montreal in the near future.
